I don’t think Joffrey had children with a another woman.

Somewhere in Angelique books Joffrey gives us the answer by himself.
I hope I remembered it well.
Peyrac said (i think in book number 7, Angelique in the New World) that Angelique was only women with who he wanted to have children. :P

The things about the pregnancy, I don’t know how it was in 17th century.
The Marquise de Montespan and Louis XIV they had seven children together.

But about our heroes, beside of Angelique's knowledge about the herbs, AG mentioned
inside of the book number 7 that Joffrey mostly didn't ejaculate inside of Angelique's vagina.

I do ask my friends in Czech-Slovakian forum. ;) :)

I remember the same thing about Joffrey and "planning" of pregnancy :) There is one thing I wonder about: before Angelique became pregnant with Florimond she had spent some time with worrying about her not being able to conceive a child. Was it just nature or Joffrey ... :?

However, if this was mentioned in the Czech/Slovak translation Joffrey must have been the "world champion of coitus interruptus"

With all the stuff he learned in the East, it would not have been surprising if he picked up some tantric sex techniques as well  .

Ha ha   I am glad you came to our forum, you are great fun, Malgga !

I promise you, I will find it for you in French, German & English books!

But sometimes we do have a great craic in Czech/Slovak forum, because in the different books there are different translations. So at times you do have feel like you are reading a different book!

My dears, "to want" and "to have" are two different things. It just can happen, although he knows what to do and the lady thinks that she is in the infertile days or whatever. I think he can't be sure concerning all possible descendants.

Malgga, try to look for some whore dialogues from 17th century. You can find the books free and online. There are surprises such as the abortion as a contraception method. I had a lot of fun with the (illustrated!) manuals.
