So let as start the diskusion about the timeline with this one:

The day Jeoffrey being burned at the stake.

What is telling us AG. in the Angelique Series about that?

Cantor was born the same day.
Angelique did spend after only 4 days in hospital.
When she returned to Temple it was 2.2. because she did see people burning
candels for "Candlemas" "Presentation of Jesus at the Temple".
(Christian holiday on 2.2.)

---------------------------------------

Joffrey did tell to Conan Becher that he will see him before face of god in one Month!

This means nothing other as this:

Conan Becher did die on 28.02 last day in February. Exactly one month after Joffrey
being burned at the stake, and Cantor born.
-----------------------

The very first german book is telling us about:
»Hier ruht Pater Conan Becher, Franziskaner, der am letzten Tage des Monats Februar 1661 durch die bösen Geister den Tod fand.«

The meaning:
Here is burried Conan Becher, who did die on the last day in the month February 1661.

(later in some wrong translations of Angelique books they are telling us it was end of March!)

As the people did look in calender, they could see it was exactly one month after Joffrey's "death".

So it means: Joffrey was burned at the stake on 28.01.1661
Cantor is born same day on 28.01.1661.
Conan Becher did die on on 28.02.1661

We will be happy to hear your meanings!

Another proof why was it right that Conan Becher died on on 28.02.1661 as was it in the
very first German book from teh year 1956 and NOT end of the Month March:

Few pages after, few days after the death of Conan Becher dies Cardinal Jules Mazarin.

Cardinal Mazarin death day was March 9, 1661 :agree:

Wedding with Philippe & Birth of Charles-Henry, son of Angelique and Phillippe.

There is some troubles with Phillippe and his ability to count the months.

What we do know from the book "Angelique, The road to Versailles" :
On the twenty-first of June 1666, the Marquise du Plessis-Belliere set out for Versailles.

From Angelique and the King:

Quote:
The dreadful wedding night at Plessis-Bellière, which she could not think of without flushing withshame, had borne fruit. She was pregnant. She was carrying Philippe's child,

and than:

Quote:
"When will it be born?"
"Soon. In January."
"It must have been at Plessis," Phillippe said after a moment's thought. "I am overjoyed to think that my son was
conceived under my ancestral roof

and more:

Quote:
"Philippe," murmured Angelique, "you are a puzzling person, the most so I have ever met. For a man to receive
such an announcement from me at such a moment and not tell me to my face that I was saddling him with a
paternity for which he was not responsible!
Philippe was drawing on his gauntlets again. He looked at her darkly, almost angrily. "In spite of the gaps in my
education," he said, "I can still count up to nine. If this child is not mine, nature by now would have compelled
you to show it to the world.

and the day of the birth of Charles-Henri was 07.01.1967 !!!!

Quote:
It was the day after Epiphany and all Paris had sore throats from yelling "The King drinks," (...)A fine day to bring a child into the world!

So than: The WEDDING in Plessis, if Phillippe realy is able to count must have been in APRIL 1966 !!!!

And not as some way let us believe Angelique's arrival to Versailles in June 1966, that the wedding was in June.

Anyway, when Angelique did speak to Phillippe first time about the idea to marry him, it was in the book early spring
1966. So it is very possible that they got married in April 1966.

There is a time gap in the book (Original edition, The Road to Versailles and Original, Angélique and The King) when she sets for Versailles.

Last chapter, The Road to Versailles: she sets for Versailles just after the dreadful night with Philippe and the beating, treats her wounds over a few days with Ninon and arrives on 21 June 1666.

First chapter, Angélique and The King: it says she got isolated by Philippe in Paris after the first visit and spent 2 months in her Hotel de Beautreillis alone, while the King sent 3 messages in 3 different occasions.

So either was planned for the first visit to Versailles to happen in April, or there should have been more events crammed between April and June 1666, but the manuscript had been cut short.

Thanks Kathy! :ok: I agree with your opinion! I did find different parts cut away in different books (so sad! )
- I am blessed that I speak 8 languages so i can compare different books - but I am not yet finished with it.

Even Nadine Golon said that "original Anne's Angelique manuscripts, which had been mostly badly printed, with a lot of cuttings and errors"
