Hi! There are some of my fan "costume sketches" of dress/suits from Angélique series. I am not a professional drawer, please excuse that the sketches are not perfect. ;)

I would be my pleasure if you tell me your opinion about them and if you tell us what is your imagination (you can also show us your own drawings - don't worry :P ).

This one is Joffrey's white satin suit with silver embroidery and accessories from red leather (book The Temptation of Angélique).

She chose the light blue dress. It was a dress made from almost white, heavy satin, but if the folds of the gown opened or folded, reflections of pure blue were flashing out the material with its polished sheen. It seemed, as a pink flashed in it as well, which was as imperceptible as the colour of first early morning lights glow at the day-spring.
On the board of Gouldsboro, anchored in the port of Quebec, when Angelique looked out of the porthole in the background grand cabin, she thought that her dress was the perfect image of this still icy morning waiting for them outside, plunging the same pearl shades in the calm waters of the St. Lawrence River.

There was no doubt about it, her ball gown was a total success— flame coloured satin with a cloak more lustrous than clouds at sunrise, and a bodice embroidered with tiny pink mother of pearl flowers. For jewels, she had chosen pink pearls. They would dangle in clusters from her ears, and a string of them was to entwine her neck and shoulders in three great strands. A tiara in the form of a crescent moon would adorn her hair. (Angélique and the King)
